General overview...

It's hard to believe you can have a 40ft (its closer to 40 than 39) 3 cabin yacht and not have it all cramped up, but Bavaria have cracked with this design, they've even managed to include an island style berth in the forward cabin. This yacht is great value shared across a group of six or two families, its also a great regatta charter yacht as the owner regularly races the yacht so its always in great sailing form and has all the go-fast gear.

The forward cabin has a large island style V berth with standing changing area clothes cupboard and has a closing door for privacy and an entry to the head and shower.

The Aft cabins are just as spacious with a closing door, stand-up changing area and plenty of cupboard space to store your belongings and they share a head accessed via the salon.

The head and showers are remarkably large, hot and cold water, wash basin, electric shower drain pump.

The galley is equipped with a gimbaled combination hob and oven, twin wash sinks and a modern electric top loading refrigerator.

Cupboard space is plentiful even with all of the galley gear safely stowed there remains plenty of space to stow provisions within easy reach.

Rig and handling

The modern fractional rig and ample sail area deliver ample power even in light winds. This yacht regularly takes line honors at the local cub racing and is in top condition, if you're considering a regatta charter this is a pretty good choice.

The Anchor system makes anchoring a easy with the powered up and down windlass and deep anchor locker, the 50 meters of chain with 20kg bruce anchor means piece of mind.

The tender is towed and has sufficient space for 6 adults for short journeys and is powered with a 5hp outboard engine.
